PaxFlow is seeking an exceptional storyteller with a passion for travel and tech to join our growth team. As a member of the growth team, you will be responsible for creating and sharing compelling narratives about our products, services, and experiences to inspire and engage our target audience.
About PaxFlow
PaxFlow is an early stage travel tech startup based out of Reykjavik, Iceland. We are on a mission to empower tour operators to streamline tour operations using automation and customer self service tools. We are venture backed startup with healthy funding to develop our planform and grow our team and customer base.
The founders are genuine industry leaders in the travel tech space – having previously worked for companies and brands such as: LinkedIn, Origo Iceland, Travelade, DriverGuide, Caren, Bus Travel Iceland, Reykjavik Excursions, Iceland Travel, Icelandair, Inspired by Iceland, Icelandic Tourist Board and more.
We care about creating an intuitive and data-driven platform using state of the art technologies and solutions. We care about tour operators and the amazing people the run and manage tour operations. They often need to deal with overload of challenges that need to be tackled within a very condensed timeframe and we want to make the hard work easy for them.
Position Overview
As a member of the Storytelling Team, you will be responsible for creating and sharing compelling narratives about our products, services, and experiences to inspire and engage our target audience. Your stories will help us build a strong brand and drive customer engagement and loyalty. Your stories should inspire and engage our target audience, building a strong brand and driving customer engagement and loyalty.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Videography, Marketing or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in storytelling, content creation, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong storytelling abilities with the ability to create engaging narratives.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for travel and exploring new cultures.
What you will be doing:
- Develop creative and engaging stories that showcase our products, services, and experiences.
- Write and edit copy for website, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
- Collaborate with the product teams to create content that aligns with our brand messaging and target audience.
- Conduct research to gather insights and identify trends to inform your storytelling.
- Work closely with designers and other team members to create visually compelling content.
- Monitor and analyse engagement metrics to optimize content for maximum impact.
